The Newton Le Willows Flower & Vegetable Show
Saturday 9th September 2006
Although the show entries were well down on last year, they were much better than we had anticipated taking into account the late cold spring and then the scorching hot weather we experienced in July. All the judges were pleased with the standard of the exhibits, and the show was certainly well supported by the general public in the afternoon.
Stuart Clensy was our main winner for the third year running and our President Robin Spencer is seen on the left presenting him with his trophies.
