We will be open for the Easter weekend as usual on the Saturday and Sunday as well as Good Friday. This year we will have Paul Speakman giving a talk & demonstration about dahlia cuttings, along with coffee & cake as usual.
In last month’s bulletin, I gave you the list of all the bedding plants that are now in the greenhouse, ready for sale at 90p each if you have a frost-free environment to put them for the time being. Extra bedding plants still to come are:
These will all be available from Saturday April 12th.
May 14th (Wednesday) – Bridgemere Garden Centre with the 15 optional Show gardens £22. The deadline for booking is Easter Sunday, April 20th. If you fancy going to this one, please do come in and book as soon as possible. If we don’t get enough numbers before the deadline, the trip will have to be cancelled.
Also, July 15th (Tuesday), RHS Bridgewater. This is free entry but no coach, just make your own way there.
The advert call-out for businesses and organisations is open until Sunday April 6th; but the list will remain open for individuals who can pick a category (or several) that are numbered in the schedule. The list is in the Hut now. This can be as little as £6 and if you want, you can make it in memory of someone. This will continue to be available until much nearer the Show weekend.
Speaking of Shows, if anybody fancies exhibiting or just visiting a Spring show, then try Shevington on Saturday 5th April. Run by the Shevington Gaden Club, it will be held at the Methodist Church in Gathurst Lane. If you’re exhibiting, it is open on the day from 8 until 10.45am. Visitors are welcome in the afternoon from 1pm.

Please note while we do our best to keep this list up to date sometimes we do have to make minor changes to one or two items. The price in The Hut is always correct.
