Last month I gave you the list of all the bedding plants that are now in the greenhouse. If you have a frost-free environment to put them in they can be purchased for 90p each. The following bedding plants are available this coming weekend.

• OSTEOSPERMUM – Akila Grand Canyon Mixed colours – upright
• SCAEVOLA – Blue Print – lilac & white – trailing evergreen perennial

We’ve also managed to get some more SWEET PEAS. Best to come this weekend if you want some – £1.30 a pot.

TRIP BOOKINGS

June 25th (Tuesday), Bodnant. £25 if you are an NT member, £42 if not.Booking deadline is May 19th.

August 7th (Wednesday) Harlow Carr. £20. Booking deadline is June 16th.

If you fancy going to either of them, please do book as soon as possible, if we don’t get enough numbers before those dates, the trips could be cancelled.

THE SHOW SCHEDULE.

The advert call-out for businesses and organisations is open until Sunday April 14th. Individuals who wish to sponsor a category (or several) that are numbered in the schedule can do so for as little as £6. The list is in the Hut now, and if you want, you can make it in memory of someone. This will continue to be available until much nearer the Show weekend.

Speaking of Shows, if anybody fancies exhibiting or just visiting a Spring show, then try Shevington on Saturday 13th April. There used to be lots of Shows years ago but there aren’t that many around here these days so it’s lovely to see this happening. Shevington are giving it a go this year. It will be held at St.Anne’s Parish Rooms on Church Lane. If you’re exhibiting, it is open on the day from 8 until 10.45 and it’s free entry! Visitors are welcome in the afternoon from 1pm. If anyone is interested, contact me and I’ll pass on your details to them and they’ll post you a schedule.
